The National Society of Leadership and Success
Building leaders who make a better world
This year, only 12 students from across the U.S. were selected to receive the National Society of Leadership and Success’s (NSLS) highly competitive Academic Excellence Scholarship, a $3,000 award recognizing outstanding achievement and leadership efforts during the 2016-17 school year.
Of those 12, two came from Brookdale.

Shoutout and big congratulations to inducted member and recent college graduate, Shirley Fuller, of the Society chapter at Wake Technical Community College! At 70 years old, Shirley received her Associate in Applied Science degree in Business Administration.

At The National Society of Leadership and Success Madison College chapter Spring 2017 Induction Ceremony, the feeling of pride among the inductees was impossible to miss. The student members were proud of what they had gained from the experience and all that they had accomplished.

Part of the appeal of the Star Wars saga is that it is the classic hero’s journey. But there’s a lot more. Having worked with leaders in over 25 different industries, I can tell you with certainty, that if you pay close attention, there are some incredibly powerful instructions for how to successfully lead. Here are seven...

During my endeavor at Broward College, I have learned that connecting and becoming an active student, as well an active member of the community, plays a crucial part in one’s college years, right after academics. I was constantly involved at my college, whether it was being an officer for a club or volunteering for an event. I utterly enjoyed serving at events and the community, conversing with successful people, and merely growing as an individual. Although, after receiving an invitation to National Society of Leadership and Success, also known as NSLS, is when everything changed. This exquisite and professional organization is a great tool to become a successful leader. Other than the great perks offered for members, the main objective is to help others discover and achieve their goals.

The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) Society chapter actively encourages its members to be leaders who will make a better tomorrow by participating in collaborative events and giving back to the El Paso community.

Not too long ago, many workers’ days started with an alarm clock and a commute to a suffocating cubicle.  Now, with the world at our fingertips, a growing amount of work is conducted entirely online.
