The online chapter is available only for students at schools where we do not yet have an in-person chapter. If you already have your nomination code, enter it in the area above. If you are interested in applying to participate in the Online Chapter of Sigma Alpha Pi and don't have a nomination code, you may be eligible to receive one if you meet the membership application criteria. Submit a nomination application for review below.

If approved, you will receive a nomination code to join online. The Online Chapter allows you to take advantage of the benefits of the Society within the flexibility of your own home and schedule. You will be able to complete all of the steps to earning membership online.

Online Chapter Nomination Application

Steps to Earning Membership Online:

1. Orientation
Review a Society Member Handbook where you will learn how to take advantage of the many Society membership benefits and submit answers to questions demonstrating your understanding.

2. Leadership Training Day
Watch an online interactive leadership training seminar with a workbook. This training helps you get clear on what you want to have happen in your life and helps you create a vision along with an action plan to help you pursue your dreams. You submit answers in the workbook as you participate and a one page essay sharing what you learned.

3. Three Speakers Events
Watch presentations from celebrity speakers, best-selling authors, and leaders that offer continual motivation and support for you on your path towards your goals. You submit a one page essay sharing what you learned.

4. Three Goal Setting Sessions
Experience goal setting sessions designed to help you set goals and overcome obstacles. Using a proven formula for producing results, you will clarify your goals, benefit from other people's experience, and commit to specific action steps to achieve your desired results. You submit a write-up discussing your goals, action steps and progress.

All submission for the steps above are reviewed and approved by your Online Chapter Advisor. On average, it takes approximately 12 hours to complete the steps above to be an inducted member. Your membership items (national leadership certification, Society insignia pin, and Sigma Alpha Pi T-shirt) will be sent to your home address upon completing the steps to earning membership.
